More about Erika Stone-Bryant
Bio
Erika Stone-Bryant lives in Richmond, Virginia and has been painting for twenty years. After inspiring visits to Vienna, Austria and several Virginia and California vineyards, she decided to leave the corporate world and paint full time.
Erika often visits Virginia vineyards, where she meets the owner or winemaker to get the history of the vineyard and then paints plein aire in the vineyard itself. She also photographs the vineyards as a reference while painting in her studio. Erika’s art reflects the experience she had at each winery, including the way the wine tastes, the smell of the air, and the colors she sees.
All of Erika’s canvases are built in her studio. Her paintings are framed in handmade custom frames of solid oak and cherry.
In Our Words
Erika Stone-Bryant’s whimsical paintings of vineyards ignite the imagination with their vibrant colors and textured surfaces. Playfully rendered, Erika creates scenes that invite the viewer to share the winery experience and embrace the beautiful landscape she so uniquely portrays.
